Opposition Leader, Lia Finocchiaro has welcomed National’s Leader, David Littleproud, and Federal Shadow Ministers, Senator Bridget McKenzie, and Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, at a small
business tour of the Top End today.
During the visit to Darwin, Senator McKenzie said the CLP's economy boosting payroll tax relief, will see around 1300 Territory businesses that will save up to $55,000 per year, alongside the Federal Coalition’s Instant Asset Write-Off, that will help get our country Back on Track.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities, the Coalition has announced they would extend the value of assets eligible for the instant asset write-off to $30,000, and make this ongoing for small businesses, which are so critical to the Territories economy,” Senator McKenzie said.
“The CLP and the Nationals understand that by supporting small business to employ more locals and grow their business, we can ease cost of living pressures and get the Territory’s economy moving forward.”
Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro said, “The CLP’s ‘Plan of Action’ will see the Territory lead the nation.”
